Medical Director
Dr. Sue Bennett
Dr. Sue Bennett is a Full Professor at the University of Ottawa, Director of Social Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and a pediatrician and mental health professional by training.
Dr. Sue is a prominent advocate for the human rights of children and youth in order for them to reach their fullest potential.

Director of Family Services
Stephanie Fragman
Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in psychoeducation and has been the Director of Family Services at the Vanier CSC since 2014, overseeing the Vanier Social Pediatric Hub since its creation in 2017.
With more than 20 years of experience working with families, she is very proud to have been a part of developing the first Social Pediatric Hub in Ontario, inspired by Dr. Gilles Julien’s evidence-based model.

Youth Programs and Social Pediatric Hub Manager
Vicki Trudel
Vicki holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as a bachelor’s degree in education and has taught in various elementary schools in the Ottawa region. She has been working at the Vanier CSC since 2013, where she has held several positions supporting a diverse clientele.
With more than 25 years of experience working with children of all ages, she offers a variety of social and recreational activities for the Hub families.

Registered Social Service Worker
Caroline Brazeau
Caroline has 15 years of experience working with children and youth with mental health and addiction issues, and those on the autism spectrum. She customizes each intervention based on the child or youth’s skill set, needs, preferences, interests and family situation.
Being part of the Hub has fulfilled her passion for the profession and expanded her compassion for children and their families.

Registered Social Worker
Robyn Young
Robyn received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of Ottawa. She has additional training in suicide intervention, cognitive behavioural therapy, clinical application of behavioural medicine, human trafficking and working with complex developmental trauma.
Robyn is dedicated to supporting and advocating for the needs of her clients and watching them grow and develop.

Receptionist
Sabrina Chelbi
Sabrina is a student at La Cité College in the Office Administration Techniques program. She is a jurist by training (law degree) and has a certificate of qualification as a lawyer in her country of origin where she practiced this profession for two years before moving to Canada.
Helping people in need was and will remain a vocation that she plans to fulfill throughout her life.
She is proud to be a member of the Vanier Social Pediatric Hub and to be able to support children, youth and their families.

Pediatrician
Dr. Hilary Myron
Dr. Hilary Myron (she/her) is a General Pediatrician practicing at Hôpital Montfort. She also sees patients through outreach clinics through the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), the CHEO Autism Hub, and the Vanier Social Pediatric Hub.
Dr. Myron has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph, a Master’s in Public Administration from Queen’s University, and completed her Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at CHEO and pursued additional training in Academic Pediatrics and pediatric sleep.

Pediatrician
Dr. Leigh Fraser-Roberts
Dr. Leigh Fraser-Roberts is a consultant Pediatrician at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. She provides consulting outreach pediatric services to the HUB, the Wabano Centre, as well as to northern remote Indigenous communities in Nunavut and Manitoba.
She has an expertise in social pediatrics and child development and provides community-based developmental assessments in Vanier. Dr. Leigh has dedicated her career to ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellness for those in underserved communities.
